Who would've thought that a little bit of a spar would've gone so badly so quickly!? What a horrid concoction that had been flung at her. She hadn't been agile enough to dodge it. In fact, her reaction speed was so slow that she barely even processed what was chucked towards her.

The first thing that registered was the immediate pain as the liquid splashed all over her fur, yelping in hurt. It coated her red and white fur. It burned, a mixture of holy and abyssal magic that was a mixture that someone like her believed shouldn't be made. As she investigated it closer, she realized it was a mixture of golden ichor and dark pitch. Bile rose in her throat at the recognition of what it was.

She could ponder this further, or forfeit to wash it off. She wasn't the best fighter and, honestly, situations like these were exactly why she tended to avoid them. And yet, she must continue, and so she picks up the beginner's lance equipment, grabbing it in her mouth. It takes a non-negligible effort to raise it, the tip of it dragging on the ground for a bit. She has to toss her head up with a lot of power to lift it, but once she does manage to get it up, she is able to keep it there.

She charges towards her enemy, attempting to keep it level and charge it through her enemy. Adelyne has had some basic weapon training, the 'keep your eyes on the target' and other simple information. That being said, would her novice efforts pay off...?
