Fuki's Introduction.

A soft melody played in the distance, many instruments swelling the air with music. So harmonious, so loving, so… cheerful.

A stubby legged Elysiphim walled out of her childhood home, looking up at the ever-sunny sky with eyes full of worry. She frowns and glances back to the door, where a larger pair of Elysiphim stood. One had a pelt made of reds and browns; her legs also stubby as well as a lack of claws that was mostly common among the Elysiphim. And as for the other, his coat was purer than hers; featuring mostly white except for the golden accents along his fur and wings.

The two stared down at the smaller Elysiphim, the mother’s eyes filled with a sort of guilt. This was not an exile, but it was not a willful leave. The mother moved forward, gently holding the younger ones face in an attempt to reassure her.

“Oh Fuki…you must realize this is purely to help you adapt.” The mother sighs, lowering her forehead to rest against the smaller Elysiphim’s head. Fuki fought hard to keep herself from shedding tears.

The father didn’t bare to look at Fuki anymore. Even though the younger angel craved for some reassurance from him, the father gave her nothing. For so many years he had given patience, offered teachings, and yet the fact that only now did his daughter realize the situation…it made his skin burn.

Fuki frowns deeply when her father didn’t show the same care he used to. Perhaps she was right to feel this way…after all she had broken his most prized possession; his cherished glass sword. It was something that could not be easily replaced…and she knew that.

The mother and father continued to stand in the doorway, watching as Fuki turned away and walked off without a word. She would not be allowed home until she had proven herself responsible…it felt like it was close enough to exile. She thought so anyway.

The stubby Elysiphim continued her walk for some time, only to slow to a halt when her limbs grew too heavy too continue…and flying was barely worth it.  She groans and lets herself slip to lay down, yawning against the sunbathing grass. It felt rather nice she might say…so nice she could take a nap. The grass felt similar to when she would lay with her mother, brows furrowing as she buried her muzzle into her arm. It would be nice to be by her side now…to feel her fur and feathers touch her as they laid by the fore. But, Fuki would not be getting such enjoyment anytime soon.

It felt rather humiliating to be kicked out of your home home simply for breaking a weapon, and if she were thinking through her more immature mindset she would say it wasn’t even her fault. Unfortunate her father did not believe a single word from her anymore, and he had finally snapped.

It was exhausting to think about.

Fuki groans and winces as she barely pushed herself off of the ground, only making it a few steps before her laziness finally overtook her bones. She couldn’t keep walking with some sort of nap…being scolded took the energy right out of her. Not even the sounds of harmony that echoed the skies of the Elysium made her feel chipper. If anything, it made her feel sick. She didn’t want to listen to anything.

Though, her anger was quick to melt when she suddenly heard loud rustling from a nearby bush. Her body went rigid, ears tall, claws in the grass. She would probably just yell and run if it was something big hiding…she barely had a weapon to defend herself with…an emeny would be the worst company to have.

When a little tanuki pushed its way out of the bush however, the Elysiphim seemed to freeze. She stared and blinked at the creature, and it seemed to blink right back at her like a reflection.

“A…tanuki?”
