An unreliable crane, made by the charmial, lands in the forest for a break on its journey to deliver a hatchling to who knows where. The crane sets the blanket containing the hatchling down as it sits for a good few minutes and in those few minutes the little hatchling inside peeked its head out. What a big world this was….with big trees and bushes surrounding them, soon the hatchling takes its first little steps out of the blanket and started to look around in amazement. The crane didn’t even seem to notice as its task was wandering around and soon farther into the forest, that can’t be good.

The little one waddles around in pure awe at the world in front of it, so much to look at and wonder about. Yet every few steps, it trips on its own legs….walking is hard. Soon, the hatchling reaches a colorful patch of flowers….what a sight it was to it, kinda reminded it of the warm hatchery. The patch was surrounded by other trees and such but along with the flowers were other sorts of creatures, things even smaller than the hatchling. One was a red bug with little black spots, a lady bug, and a green bug that makes noise, a grass hopper. But there was one more creature the hatchling found on its first little adventure, a green bug….but this one didn’t make noise…and it had more legs than all the others, a spider. This insect started to move in front of the hatchling and onto it before settling onto its threads. Will this spider be its charm?…huh
